While walking, sitting, cooking, working, singing or watching TV sense you arms and your legs from within without trying to change anything and without valuing what you are finding. Sensing them just as they factually, physically feel. ( hot, cold, flowing, stuck, frozen, etc).
This is a very powerful practice the heal the fundamental split between the inner and the outer.
If you add looking and keep 55 % of the energy in the sensing of the arms and legs and only 45 % into the looking you become very anchored in the here and now.
I think we are frightened
Every moment of our lives
Untill
We know
Him
Absolutely Clear
Don't surrender your loneliness
So quickly.
Let it cut more deep.
Let it ferment and season you
As few human
Or even divine ingredients can.
Something missing in my heart tonight
Has made my eyes so soft,
My voice
So tender,
My need of God
Absolutely
Clear.
Just Sit There
Just sit there right now.
Don't do a thing.
Just rest.
For your separation from God
Is the hardest work in this world.
Let me bring you trays of food
And something
That you would like to drink.
You can use my soft words
As a cushion
For your
Head.
Love
Love wants to reach out and manhandle us,
Break all our tea cup talk of God.
If you had the courage and could give the Beloved His choice,
some nights He would just drag you around the room by your hair,
Ripping from your grip all the toys in the world that bring you no joy.
Love sometimes gets tired of speaking sweetly
And wants to rip to shreds
All your erroneous notions of truth
That make you fight within yourself, dear one,
And with others, causing the world to weep on too many fine days.
God wants to manhandle us,
Lock us inside a tiny room with Himself
And practice his drop-kick.
The Beloved sometimes wants to do us a great favour:
Hold us upside down and shake all the nonsense out.
But when we hear He is in such a "playful drunken mood"
Most everyone I know quickly packs their bags and
hightails it out of town.
When no one is looking
I swallow deserts and clouds
And chew on mountains , knowing
They are sweet bones.
When no one is looking
And I want to kiss God
I just lift my own hand to my mouth.
I am one with all things-
in beauty, in ugliness,
for whatsoever is-
there I am.
Not only in virtue
but in sin too I am a partner,
Not only in heaven
but hell too is mine.
Buddha, Jesus, Loa Tzu -
it is easy to be their heir,
but Genghis, Taimur and Hitler?
There are also within me!
No, not half- I am the whole of mankind!
Whatsoever is man's is mine -
flowers and thorns,
darkness as well as light,
and if nectar is mine, whose is poison?
nectar and poison - both are mine.
Whoever experiences this
I call religious,
for only the anguish of such experience
can revolutionize life on earth.
There are two types of creators in the world:
one type of creator works with objects;
a poet, a painter, they work with objects,
they create things.
The other type of creator, the mystic,
creates himself, he works with the subject;
he works on himself, his own being.
And he is the real creator, the real poet,
because he makes himself into
a masterpiece.
.
Just our being here is such a miracle.
It cannot be explained why I am here, why you are here.
Why these trees are here, why these stars are here.
Why at all this universe exists, and goes on peopling itself
with trees and birds and people.
Why in the first place it is there, there is no way to know.
It simply is there. But it inspires awe!
It fills the heart with wonder.
It is incredible!
It is absurd, but tremendously beautiful.
.
Principle
Remember one principle:
whatever happens is somehow needed,
whether we understand it or not...
Osho: Uruguay Talks: "The Path of the Mystic"
Truths will give you a rebirth.
We are just pregnant for centuries and centuries,
and lives and lives, and the birth has not happened.
We are just pregnant, just a seed,
because no one is ready to pay the price.
And before one comes to that bliss which is our seeking,
one has to pass through a deep suffering.
That suffering is a must.
That is the birth pain you cannot escape it.
Osho: "That Art Thou"
Drop worrying.
There is nothing to worry about;
all is taken care of. Live with that trust.
As the river finds the ocean,
thirsty souls find the temple of God.
But the thirst must be intense
and the work tireless
and the waiting without end
and the calling with the whole heart.
Whatever you have become,
however far you have gone
from your natural potential,
it does not matter.
Your Buddha remains within you.
You can come back home any moment
you decide with totality and utter urgency.
Nothing can prevent you.
The way of the heart is the way of courage.
It is living in insecurity;
it is to live in love, and trust;
it is to move into the unknown;
it is leaving the past and allowing the now to be.
Trust in matter and you will live in hell.
Trust in consciousness
and you have the key to open the doors
of the Kingdom of God.
For years, copying other people, I tried to know myself.
From within, I couldn't decide what to do.
Unable to see, I heard my name being called.
Then I walked outside.
The breeze at dawn has secrets to tell you.
Don't go back to sleep.
You must ask for what you really want.
Don't go back to sleep.
People are going back and forth across the doorsill
where the two worlds touch.
The door is round and open.
Don't go back to sleep.
Stay together friends.
Don’t scatter and sleep.
Our friendship is made
Of being awake.
The waterwheel accepts water
And turns and gives it away , weeping.
That way it stays in the garden,
Whereas another roundness
Rolls through a dry riverbed looking
For what it thinks it wants.
Stay here, quivering with each moment
Like drop of mercury.
Gamble everything for love,
If you are a true human being.
If not, leave this gathering.
Half heartedness does not reach
Into majesty. You set out
To find God, but then you keep
Stopping for long periods
At mean spirited roadhouses.
There are guides
Who can show you the way
Use them
But they will not satisfy your longing
Keep wanting the connection with presence
With all your pulsing energy
The throbbing vein
Will take you further
Than any thinking
Mohammed said: Do not theorize
About essence. All speculations
Are just more layers of covering
Human beings love coverings
They think the design on the curtains
Are what is being concealed
Observe the wonders as they occur around you
Do not claim them. Feel the artistry
Moving through and be silent.
Life is not for waiting
Do not postpone
Love is bringing everyone by the ear
To a place where reason cannot go
Where Muhammed’s eyes close in sleep
And the night grows quiet
Truth does not sleep. Sunlight does not go away
The stars are suns. Shams is everywhere.
In the slaughterhouse of love
They kill only the best,
None of the weak or deformed.
Do not run away from this dying.
Whoever is not killed for love is dead meat.
.
The way of love is not a subtle argument.
The door there is devastation.
Birds make great sky-circles of their freedom.
How do they learn it?
They fall, and falling they're given wings.
One who does what the Friend wants done
will never need a friend.
There is a bankruptcy that is pure gain.
The moon stays bright
when it does not avoid the night.
A rose’s rarest essence
lives in the thorn.
When I see you and how you are,
I close my eyes to the other.
For your Solomon’s seal I become wax
Throughout my body.
I wait to be light.
I give up opinions on all matters
I become the reed flute for your breath.
You were inside my hand.
I kept reaching around for something.
I was inside your hand, but I kept asking questions
Of those who know very little.
I must have been incredible simple or drunk or insane
To sneak into my own house and steal money.
To climb over my own fence and take my own vegetables.
But no more. I have gotten free of that ignorant fist.
That was pinching and twisting my secret self.
The universe and the light of the stars come through me.
I am the crescent moon put up
Over the gate to the festival.
“Never give up.
No matter what is going on,
Never give up.
Develop the heart.
Too much energy in your country
is spent developing the mind instead of the heart.
Be compassionate,
Not just to your friends
But to everyone.
Be compassionate
Work for peace,
In your heart and in the world.
And I say again:
Never give up.
No mater what is happening.
No mater what is going on around you
Never give up”.
S. Hl. der XIV Dalai Lama
St. Theresa's Prayer
May today there be peace within.
May you trust your highest power that you are
Exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are
Born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received, and
pass on the love that has been given to you.. May you be
content knowing you are a child of God....
Let this presence settle into our bones, and allow
your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.
It is there for each and every one of you.
There is a brokenness out of which comes the
unbreakable
There is a shattered ness out of which blooms the
unshatterable
There is a sorrow beyond all grief which leads to joy
and a fragility out of whose depths emerges strength
There is a hollow space to vast for words through
which we pass with each loss, out of whose darkness we
are sanctioned into being.
There is a cry deeper than all sound
whose serrated edges cut the heart
as we break open
to the place inside which is unbreakable
and whole,
while learning to sing.
- Rashani
God, give me grace to accept with serenity
the things that cannot be changed,
give me the courage to change the things
that can be changed,
and the wisdom to know the difference.
Commitment creates freedom.
When you commit to a movement,
you make it with your whole body.
When you commit to a feeling,
your passion will give power to your message.
When you commit to a dance,
your feeling reaches beyond your limitations.
When you commit to your path,
give yourself over to your way of growth, Magic happens...
obstacles get out of your way, mountains lay down before you,
the sky opens up above you,
and you will find yourself transformed
- Aziza Sa'id
When the power of love
overcomes the love of power,
The world will know peace.
- Jimmy Hendrix
He who wants to do good knocks at the gate;
he who loves finds the gate open.

Rabindranath Tagore
No target's erected,
no bow's drawn,
and the arrow leaves the string:
It may not hit,
BUT IT DOESN'T MISS!
- Kokushi
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful, beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves: Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small doesn’t serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
You were born to make manifest
the glory of God that is within you.
- M. A. Williamsen
If only our own faces would allow
the invisible carvers hand to bring
the deep grain of love to the surface.
If only we knew, as the carver knew,
how the floors and the wood let his searching chisel
to the very core,
we would smile too and not need faces
immobilized by fear and
the weight of things undone.
When we fight with our failing
we ignore the entrance to the shrine itself
and wrestle with the guardians fierce figure
on the side of good,
and as we fight our eyes are huddled with grief
and our mouth is dry with pain
If only we could give ourselves
to the blows of the carvers hands
The lines in our face would be
the trace lines of rivers feeding the sea,
where voices meet praising the features of the mountain
and the cloud and the sky.
Our faces would fall away until we,
growing younger towards death every day
would gather all our flaws in celebration
to merge with them perfectly,
impossibly wedded to our essence
full of silence from the carvers hands.

It takes forever to find a way out.

Symptoms of inner peace
Be on the lookout for symptoms of inner peace.
The hearts of a great many
have already been exposed to inner peace
and it is possible that people everywhere
could come down with it in epidemic proportions.
This could pose a serious threat to what has,
up to now, been a fairly stable condition
of conflict in the world.
A tendency to think and act spontaneously
rather than on fears based on past experiences.
An unmistakable ability to enjoy each moment.
A loss of interest in judging other people.
A loss of the ability to worry.
This is a very serious symptom.
Frequent overwhelming episodes of appreciation.
Contented feelings of connectedness with others and nature.
Frequent attacks of smiling.
An increased tendency to let things happen
rather than make them happen.

A Hopi elder speaks
"You have been telling the people
that this is the Eleventh Hour.
Now you must go back
and tell the people that this is the Hour.
And there are things to be considered.
Where are you living?
What are you doing?
What are your relationships?
Are you in right relation?
Where is your water?
Know your garden.
It is time to speak your Truth.
Create your community.
Be good to each other.
And do not look outside yourself for the
leader."
Then he clasped his hands together, smiled, and said,
"This could be a good time!"
Wisdom of the elders
There is a river flowing now very fast.
It is so great and swift,
that there are those who will be afraid.
They will try to hold on to the shore.
They will feel they are being torn
apart and will suffer greatly.
Know the river has its destination.
The elders say we must let go of the shore,
push off into the middleof the river,
keep our eyes open,
and our heads above the water.
And I say,
see who is in there with you and celebrate.
At this time in history,
we are to take nothing personally.
Leastof all, ourselves.
For the moment that we do, our spiritual
growth and journey comes to a halt.
The time of the lone wolf is over.
Gather yourselves!
Banish the word struggle from your attitude
and your vocabulary.
All that we do now must be done in a sacred
manner and in celebration.
